Terms for Bike Me

These terms apply when you use the Bike Me app and related services.

Bike Me helps cyclists create, find and join bike rides. The app is a tool for planning and coordinating rides, but you are always responsible for your own choices and safety.

Your safety and participation

You are responsible for your own safety, compliance with traffic laws, route choices and participation in rides.

Always assess weather, traffic, your equipment, your fitness level and the people you choose to ride with before joining or starting a ride.

Information from other users

Bike Me cannot guarantee that information created or shared by other users is correct, complete or up to date. This includes ride descriptions, meeting points, routes, participation details and other user-generated content.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the app or use it in a way that harms others.

• Do not create false or misleading rides.
• Do not harass, threaten or abuse other users.
• Do not share illegal, harmful, offensive or unsafe content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, misuse or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Routes, GPX and ride data

GPX routes, maps, meeting points and ride data are guidance only. You must always assess whether a route is safe and suitable before and during a ride.

Location and tracking

Location is used for maps, nearby rides and active tracking. Tracking is only used when you actively choose to start and record a ride in the app.

Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app under Profile -> Settings. If you need help, contact us at info@bikeme.one.
